At the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, a high-performance, limited-production variant of the XE known as the SV Project 8 made its debut. The Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team at Jaguar Land Rover modified the standard vehicle with carbon fiber body panels, aerodynamic aids like a front splitter and rear wing, carbon fiber and Alcantara interior trim, 400 mm carbon ceramic brake discs up front with six-piston calipers, unique 20-inch wheels with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, and a supercharged and intercooled 592 hp version of the 5.0 L Jaguar AJ-V8.
The Project 8 comes standard with four leather-trimmed bucket seats, two of which are set on lightweight magnesium frames. A "track package" that is unavailable in the US
