Following closely on the fixed-roof R8 GT, Audi has unveiled a second limited edition of the high-performance R8 sports vehicle. Its 5.2-liter V10 now produces 412 kW (560 horsepower), while the car's weight has been decreased by 85 kilos (187.39 lb). The R8 GT Spyder has a top speed of 317 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.8 seconds (196.97 mph).
The Audi R8 was designed to succeed. The R8 LMS won 23 races and three champion titles in its inaugural season, and in 2010 it added four more titles and won 41 more races.
