Lexus IS F

The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine used in the Lexus IS F was co-engineered with Yamaha and is referred to internally as the 2UR-GSE. It was created as a high-performance variant of the fourth-generation LS 460 and LS 600h's 32-valve, quad-camshaft UR-series engines. Its mandate was to maintain the fuel efficiency, low emissions, and high output of its brothers while also providing "limitless depth of power, reaction, and sound." The engine's foundation was a cylinder block made of die-cast aluminum with steel liners. The forged crankshaft at the base of the V spun around five main bearings and had two banks of four cylinders set at a 90-degree angle.
