The G20 BMW M340i xDrive has been formally introduced in Malaysia by BMW Malaysia, one week after we first announced its impending arrival. The variation, which debuted with the 330e M Sport plug-in hybrid today, is now the top model in Malaysia's lineup of four 3 Series models, which also includes the 320i Sport and 330i M Sport.
The honor of being the first ever locally built CKD M Performance variant belongs to the M340i, which made its debut in Los Angeles back in November 2018. Additionally, it is the only member of the local foursome to have an inline-six powerplant.
