The new Jeep Avenger

The unveiling of the new Jeep Avenger It is the brand's first all-electric SUV and has a range of up to 250 miles. Read on for all the relevant information.

The new Jeep Avenger is a small electric SUV that will compete with the Vauxhall Mokka Electric and the Peugeot e-2008.

This new electric vehicle will have a range of up to 250 miles and will be available early next year.

The new Jeep Avenger design

Looking at the new Avenger, it is immediately apparent that it is a Jeep. This is primarily because of the grille and boxy appearance.

This SUV will not replace the Jeep Renegade, despite their similar appearance. The primary distinction is the front of the Avenger, which features square headlights and thin LED daytime running lights.

The Avenger is also slightly smaller than the Renegade, but it maintains the rough Jeep-like appearance with flared wheel arches and black plastic cladding. However, these are better suited for fending off shopping carts than boulders on the Rubicon trail.

At the rear, there are LED taillights that resemble those on the Renegade, as well as a bulky black plastic bumper.

The new Jeep Avenger battery and driving

On a full charge, the new Jeep Avenger will provide up to 250 miles of range. Jeep has not yet confirmed the actual size of the vehicle's battery.

Even less is known about the engine, but it is likely to have the same 136-horsepower engine as the Vauxhall Mokka Electric.

The new Jeep Avenger cabin and infotainment system

There are no photographs of the interior of the new Jeep Avenger, but it will likely share infotainment technologies with the Jeep Compass.

This would entail a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Amazon Alexa-connected services that allow you to control things like your home's temperature from your vehicle.

New Jeep Avenger cost and launch date
In October of this year, the new Jeep Avenger will make its public premiere at the Paris Motor Show, with order books opening at the same time. It is anticipated that deliveries will begin early next year.

As for the price, it has not yet been disclosed. Expect this new EV SUV to cost roughly the same as the Jeep Renegade, if not slightly more. Expect to pay approximately £35,000 for an entry-level vehicle.
