The McLaren Senna aims to be the best track car that is also road legal. The 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which is directly derived from the 720S, has a maximum torque of 800Nm and delivers 800PS (789bhp) (590 lb ft).
A low-pressure area produced by the rear twin diffuser further draws the vehicle into the ground. To maximize downforce and aerodynamic balance, the wing and front flaps are adjusted in the meantime.
Although it may have an odd appearance, function comes first in everything. The doors, for instance, have glass panes to facilitate turning (by looking at the road).
The most important factor, though, is still weight: this McLaren is the lightest since the classic F1 of the early 1990s.
