McLaren 675LTR Spider

The McLaren 675LT, the brand's first contemporary model to have the LT (or "Longtail") badge, made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
It draws influence from the 1997 racing season debut of the McLaren F1 GTR "Longtail." A "Longtail," according to McLaren, is defined by "emphasis on outright performance, weight reduction, and ultimate levels of driver engagement." Taking on the "Longtail" mentality,

As with the original "Longtail" F1 GTR, McLaren concentrated on lowering the weight, improving aerodynamics, and generating downforce to produce more performance on the track.
The 675LT was designed by McLaren to be the Super Series road legal variant that is most track-focused. In order to do this, McLaren used more carbon fiber and lighter components, resulting in a weight reduction of 100 kg to 1,230 kg.
The 675LT's freshly created M838TL 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine has a top speed of 330 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 2.9 seconds.
The Active Dynamics Panel rotary switches on the 675LT are used to change the vehicle's handling and powertrain settings. The 675LT's Sport and Track settings were specifically designed with track experience in mind.
The car's design prioritizes track use, and it has carbon fiber gearshift paddles located on a rocker behind the steering wheel that take inspiration from P1.
