The 2022 Genesis GV70 compact-luxury SUV, which is based on the excellent G70 sports sedan, offers comparable driving fun with a higher sitting position and more load space. Both a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 and a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder will be available as options; all GV70 vehicles come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The GV70 is a value player in the crowded compact-luxury SUV market thanks to Genesis' custom of packing even entry-level models full of opulent goodies, earning it an Editors' Choice award. The GV70's inside is cozy and well-made, with the exception of a few ergonomic complaints. However, passengers in the rear seats might wish you had opted for the more expensive and roomier GV80 SUV.
