The Ferrari F1 Concept was made public in February 2015, following the influx of new technical rules into the sport in 2014, a year in which Ferrari went without a victory for the first time since 1993. The Ferrari F1 Concept served as a statement of the predicament Formula 1 had placed itself in: in an effort to remain relevant in today's society, it may have lost some of the qualities that once drew crowds.
