To achieve these lofty goals, BMW M GmbH has fitted the M6 Coupe and Convertible with the most powerful engine ever produced in a series model, paired with a high-torque 7-speed M-Double Clutch Transmission (M-DCT). The drivetrain also features an innovative Active M Differential that optimizes power transfer between the rear wheels. Alongside extensive chassis and suspension upgrades, these features ensure that the engine's exceptional performance can be efficiently transferred to the ground.
